July is a new month for me and I wanted to challenge myself a bit. I don’t have much going on these days being that it’s summer and I work in education. I was browsing on Instagram after one of my Barry’s Bootcamp classes and noticed that a bunch of the trainers are fitness influencers with thousands of followers. I’m going to try to do the same thing.
For the longest time, my Instagram was on private and really just a collection of photos I wanted to share with my friends and family since I live so far from most of them and it’s one way to stay connected. Then I slowly started making it more public because I had a job that took me to pretty cool places and was able to get tips and advice from other people at the various locations I went to – that’s when I discovered Instagram travel bloggers. These people make a living out of traveling the world and posting pictures! Why didn’t I think of that?
So the goal now is to get to 5K followers. I did rebrand and reboot my IG so it can have more of a social media lens to it. Limiting it to things like fitness and travel. I have no clue what I’m doing. I guess we’ll see if I can make it happen or not. I don’t really care to be an influencer of some sort. In fact, I’m not even really sure what one does if I’m being completely honest. I like goal setting though and this seems like a fun one.
